They've been winning and enjoying success in high school bass tournaments. Their love of fishing has also launched a business—Juice Bait Co. The Bahr brothers have compiled an impressive tournament record. Ron Schara is a writer and television personality who’s been sharing outdoor stories with readers and viewers for four decades.  He brings to life the joys of living the outdoors through nature watching, fishing, hunting, camping and the like.
Ron’s soft spoken delivery and friendly on-camera presence have made him a popular icon as an outdoor communicator with a passion for the outdoor lifestyle.
Ron’s introduction and knowledge of the outdoors began as a boy growing up in a small town of Postville, located in the rugged northeast corner of Iowa. Later, Ron combined two passions, music and journalism.
He may be the only television personality in America who once sang nightly in a Minneapolis nightclub and also graduated from Iowa State University in 1966 in journalism combined with fish and wildlife biology.

In 1968, Ron became an outdoor columnist for the Minneapolis Tribune, a position that eventually led him into radio and television.
Today Ron is founder/executive producer of Ron Schara Productions, a full-service video production company with nine Emmy Awards.  The company’s television programs have aired on a variety of networks, including NBC, History Channel, Fox Sports North, Outdoor Channel, and other broadcast markets.

Currently, Ron is  co-host of Live Outdoors  heard weekly on WCCO 830 on CBS. Ironically, the Real Star of Ron’s many programs is his dog, Raven, a black Lab who is seen on several shows, including MINNESOTA BOUND on KARE-TV; The Flush on The Outdoor Channel, Backroads with Ron & Raven on FOX sports north (FSN), and Due North Outdoors on FSN.
Married to Denise and the father of two grown daughters, Simone and Laura. Ron also has one grandson, Jake. It may explain why Ron ends most of his programs with: "Remember, introduce a kid to the great outdoors.’’

Dan Quinn – Field Promotions Manager at Rapala

Dan Quinn has been living and breathing fishing since the day he was born. Son of Steve Quinn, Dan grew up around fishing, from being on the water to industry related discussions with his father, and everything in between. At the age of 11 Dan became his father’s tournament partner and by middle school Dan was a part-time employee at In-Fisherman, primarily working for the PWT (Professional Walleye Trail). Eventually Dan proved his work ethic and was promoted to a full-fledged part of the PWT, assisting in every aspect of the organization. Through that work he had a front row seat to professional fishing – the fisherman, the tournament organization, sponsors and everything that comes with it.

After the final PWT Championship in 2008 Dan was 26 and had logged nearly 14 years of experience working for In-Fisherman. As Dan was seeking a job as a game warden, he realized that his experience in fishing and the relationships he had in the fishing world were significant. The law enforcement route wasn’t easy and after a couple frustrating years of being turned down, Dan had a question that he couldn’t answer – why am I not looking for a job in the fishing industry!? He became focused on that goal and through a PWT friend, Brad Ertel, met Gregg Wollner, VP of Rapala. Dan and Gregg became friends and over time Gregg asked Dan if he’d like to visit the Rapala office and meet the staff. The stars aligned and soon after that meeting he landed a job at Rapala in Customer Service. In less than a year Dan’ dream job opened up, Field Promotions Director for Rapala. With that job came pro staff management, interacting with media partners, working with writers and of course a good amount of fishing. Dan’s experience with In-Fisherman, industry friends and experience on the water proved invaluable to the position he now has. Dan lives in Hudson, WI with his wife Megan, son McCarthy (6) and daughter Delaney (3).
